    Anthony Chua is the CEO and Cofounder of Stratificare, a personalised diagnostics company based in Singapore. Since 2006, he has been involved with numerous BioTech/MedTech startups and tech transfer offices both locally and internationally. Anthony’s work contributed to the acquisition of Protez Pharmaceuticals by Novartis, and together with Professor Mary Ng, played instrumental roles in attracting Fujitsu Laboratories Limited to establish their very first BioTech research facility in Singapore.

     

    Anthony Chua obtained his PhD in Virology from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and is an alumnus of the NUS Overseas College. He received his training in high-tech entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania and later, at INSEAD.

    Antoine Lebrun has over a decade of experience scaling companies globally. The King of Cashflow and Treasury, Antoine is an experienced finance expert in PE and VC portfolio companies, deeply embedded into the European and Asian Startup ecosystems. He worked on Blackstone’s sale of Logicor, before joining the renowned Israeli cybersecurity startup, seeded by Francisco Partners and sold to Novalpina Capital.

    He is currently holding a managing position within Spain’s second Unicorn, Glovo, in Barcelona and has recently joined R3i Ventures as Venture Partner.

    Antoine’s expertise is in Corporate Finance (Treasury, Financial Modelling, Valuation…) and in defining and refining business models for Startups. Antoine delivers workshops on Cashflow and Treasury at IoT Tribe and 500 Startups, and works as a mentor at various accelerators (including IE and SMU). He was the founder of a Multi-University investment club in Belgium.

    With her decades of experience in data security and scientific databases, Marianne is uniquely equipped to identify cohesive teams and qualify deal flow for the fund. She has a strong technical expertise, is a visionary, and drives innovation. The University of Illinois named Marianne Winslett as Director of the Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) in Singapore in 2012. ADSC, operated by the University of Illinois and funded by the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), is focused on breakthrough innovations that will make human-machine interactions as seamless and trustworthy as our interactions with each other. Under her leadership she established a strong team of more than 50 researchers and staff who made significant breakthroughs in interactive digital media, smart grid and other research.

     

    Professor Marianne Winslett has broad interests in the database area, with current focuses on data security and scientific databases. In the area of data security, she is participating in the TrustBuilder project to develop automated trust negotiation, a new approach to access control and authentication for use in open computing environments. She holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University.

    Dr. James G. Shanahan has spent the past 30 years developing and researching cutting-edge artificial intelligent systems splitting his time between industry and academia. He teaches at the University of California at Berkeley and has co-founded several companies that leverage AI/machine learning/deep learning/computer vision in verticals such as digital advertising, web search, and smart cameras. Previously he has held appointments at AT&T (Executive Director of Research), NativeX (SVP of data science), Xerox Research (staff research scientist), and Mitsubishi. He also advises several high-tech startups (including Aylien, ChartBoost, DigitalBank, LucidWorks, and others). James is an EU Marie Curie fellow. In 2011 he was selected as a member of the Silicon Valley 50 (Top 50 Irish Americans).

Earlier in his career, he held roles across strategy, operations and investment management with BofAML.

     

    Guy received his BSc in Computer Science and Business Management from The University of Leeds, and an MBA from IE Business School and Singapore Management University.
